FWTW Moment: Tiffany Wright

In August 2018, my mother died of a pulmonary embolism at the age of 56.

She called me about 20-30 mins before she died, and said to me "I just want to let you know I love you, and I'm sorry for everything." My reply was, "Mom why are you talking like this." she said, "something is wrong. I think I'm going to die."

...one thing became clear at my mother’s homegoing celebration: she decided to live as much as she could thru courage, love, and resiliency.

That night, I got a knock on my door, I collapsed screaming to the top of my lungs, with a heart deep in anguish. As I maneuvered thru my grief and depression trying to grasp some type of spiritual enlightenment, one thing became clear at my mother's homegoing celebration: she decided to live as much as she could thru courage, love, and resiliency.

In my mothers last months, she was extremely ill, and didn't let it stop her from living. She always made time to check on others. She began travelling again. She started taking up art again. At my mom's service, I declared that I would live on my terms, thru the guidance of the Holy spirit and my mother.

My FWTW Moment was when I graduated from "belief" to "knowing" that I was protected, and there was absolutely nothing to fear; no limits, no doubts. My life commitment became centered on freedom and courage.
